Mixed Methods Distance Training Implementation Planning Webinar

As part of the 2013-2014 Mixed Methods Distance Training for 1305 Grantees, Amanda Cornett presented a webinar on implemenation planning. This webinar provided a brief overview of the Framework for Evidence Based public health and focus on the first two planning stages of the implementation process (exploration and installation).  This webinar walked participants through their role in the implementation process as a state agency in addition to how they may facilitate implementation at the local level.  Activities were focused on identifying the fit and feasibility of selected initiatives along with identifying early adopters and champions who are vital to the planning process.  The main objectives of this webinar were to: 

  • Review the process for implementing EBIs
  • Define implementation and the four stages of implementation
  • Provide tools and strategies to help state teams plan for implementation
