Fast Lean Pro is a weight loss supplement made by Rize Nutrition with a range of "clinically researched" natural ingredients. It claims to be capable of promoting weight loss and weight management, boosting cell regeneration, supporting metabolic processes, and activating the human body's intermittent fasting switch.
The Fast Lean Pro creators even say it will improve mental clarity and focus, increase energy levels, and utilize stored fat more effectively, to produce real results on your weight loss journey. However, after we did our own Fast Lean Pro review, it became clear that it is not the effective weight loss supplement they say.
The Fast Lean Pro formula contains only natural ingredients and consists of garcinia cambogia, green tea extract, guarana seed powder, apple cider vinegar, grape seed extract, and raspberry ketones. It then also contains a selection of "other ingredients" that do not offer any health benefits.
Unfortunately, there are a number of problems with this formula. While many of the ingredients in Fast Lean Pro can indeed help to support weight loss, most are present in dosages that are far too low to be of any use, while one is used in a dosage that is too high and poses a great risk of side effects occurring.
You then also have a number of ingredients that have either not been proven to aid weight loss or are not included to provide any health benefits at all. There are then even complaints from some customers about not noticing any weight loss or experiencing side effects like nausea and stomach pains as well.
Admittedly, Fast Lean Pro emerges as one of the more affordable weight loss products on the market, and its price tag means that virtually everyone will be able to obtain and use it. However, that simply is not enough to save what is a completely ineffective weight loss supplement in every other way.
That is why we strongly feel that, rather than buying Fast Lean Pro, money is better spent on a product that uses a weight loss formula with more well proven ingredients and in doses that actually match the clinical studies.
Fast Lean Pro reviews from past customers have the product sitting with an average rating score of 3.8 out of 5 stars among users on Amazon.
This does not look overly good to begin with, but it then becomes even less promising when you realise that most of the positive reviews come from people who admit to having been given a free bottle of the Fast Lean Pro capsules, as it is highly likely that they have been incentivised to leave a positive review.
When you then look at the negative Fast Lean Pro reviews though, you will find people who say that the product simply did not work, as well as those who said it caused them to experience side effects, such as stomach pains and nausea. There is also a suggestion that it is not safe for pregnant or nursing mothers as well.
This supports our initial conclusion, which was that Fast Lean Pro is not a supplement to be trusted, as it is highly unlikely that it is going to work.
Garcinia Cambogia - 200 MG
Garcinia cambogia is a fruit that is native to parts of Asia and which has long been used in various forms of traditional medicine in that continent. It is now also starting to be put in some western weight loss supplements as it contains an isomer called hydroxycitric acid, which is a derivative of citric acid.
It is claimed to promote healthy weight loss, enhance endurance, exercise performance, muscle growth, serotonin production, calorie burn, and gut and digestive health, burn fat reserves, and reduce blood sugar levels and your appetite and risk of diabetes (1).
Unfortunately, there are a number of issues with garcinia cambogia. Not only is far more evidence required to substantiate any of its claimed effects, but even the studies that do believe it works claim that a minimum of 500 mg must be consumed three times a day for it to be of any use.
This means that the 200 mg of garcinia cambogia that is present in each serving of Fast Lean Pro is guaranteed to do nothing at all.
Green Tea Extract - 200 MG
Green tea extract is a great source of both natural caffeine and a potent antioxidant catechin called EGCG. Between them, these compounds can help boost both your health and weight loss in a multitude of ways.
They boost metabolism, energy levels, and fat breakdown, promote healthy blood sugar and lipid levels, reduce food cravings and your cholesterol and blood pressure levels, enhance the health and functions of your brain and heart, relieve anxiety and stress, and help your body fight off a number of illnesses.
The problem is, studies show that you need to consume at least 500 mg of green tea extract a day for it to do any of this (2). That means that the 200 mg of green tea extract present in a serving of the Fast Lean Pro supplement is again assured to be of no use at all.
Guarana Seed Powder - 100 MG
Guarana extract comes from the seeds of a fruiting plant native to the Amazon region of South America. Widely used in sports foods, drinks and supplements, it is a natural source of caffeine and can greatly boost the body's metabolism, energy levels, and recovery time, and prevent you from becoming fatigued.
This makes it an ideal component to include in a weight loss supplement formulation, as it will allow you to train harder and more often and burn calories and stored fat faster, all of which leads to more effective weight loss progress.
However, guarana is only thought to be safe when taken in doses of 75 grams or less (3). This means the 100 mg of guarana seed powder in each serving of Fast Lean Pro extends beyond the upper safe limit and puts you at a great risk of experiencing some unpleasant side effects.
Apple Cider Vinegar - 100 MG
Apple cider vinegar is a vinegar made from apple juice that has the same acetic acid and trace mineral content as normal vinegar and all the phytochemicals of apples.
It has long been used as a traditional remedy to promote healthy weight loss, but its is now beginning to be put in commercial weight management products such as Fast Lean Pro as well.
It is claimed to reduce the glycaemic index of food, prevent blood sugar spikes and weight gain, lower blood lipid profiles, suppress food cravings, help you lose weight and trigger your fasting switch, and combat diabetes.
The issue is, not only is there no conclusive proof that it can actually effect the weight loss process or your fasting switch, but even the studies that say it can suggest that it will only have a very minimal effect on weight loss and that it should not be taken in daily doses any greater than 30 mg (4).
This means that the 100 mg of apple cider vinegar in Fast Lean Pro may not help you with losing weight but could still cause issues with the teeth, organs, and gastrointestinal tract.
Grape Seed Extract - 100 MG
Grape seed extract is rich in antioxidants called catechins, as well as a substance called resveratrol, both of which are known for their potent anti inflammatory properties.
They can improve circulation, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels, promote excess weight loss, alter insulin and glucose sensitivity, regulate hormone levels, boost nerve, joint, and cardiovascular health, enhance cognitive function, and aid the production of beneficial gut bacteria that promotes gut health.
Unfortunately, to promote sustainable weight loss, 800 mg of grape seed extract is needed to be consumed each day (5). This means that the 100 mg of grape seed extract in each serving of Fast Lean Pro will do nothing to help you shed those excess pounds at all.
Raspberry Ketones - 50 MG
Raspberry ketones are a phenolic compound that will often be found in a weight loss formula, due to the fact that some studies claim they can help burn stored fat directly, while also increasing the production of a hormone called adiponectin, which is known to promote fat breakdown.
The problem is, there is no conclusive evidence that raspberry ketones will help with losing weight at all. This means it is very likely that their presence in Fast Lean Pro stands little chance of being of any benefit to your weight loss journey (6).
Gelatin is a substance derived from animal hides. It is not used to enhance the effectiveness of the Fast Lean Pro pills and is only used to create the capsule that the natural formula is housed in and make it smooth and easy to take.
It can also cause some side effects though, such as bloating, diarrhoea, gas, heartburn, and nausea, and means that the product is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans (7).
Magnesium Stearate Vegetable Grade
Vegetable grade magnesium stearate is used exclusively to enhance the bulk, stability, and texture of the natural ingredients held within the Fast Lean Pro capsules, so it will not benefit your health, weight management, or overall well being in any way.
That said, it can again lead to some people experiencing negative side effects, such as bloating, gas, depression, diarrhoea, forgetfulness, headaches, stomach pain, and low energy levels (8).
Microcrystalline cellulose is used to improve the bulk, stability, and texture of the natural formula of the Fast Lean Pro product, and offers no health benefits whatsoever.
It has been linked to a number of side effects though, which includes bloating, gas, depression, diarrhoea, forgetfulness, headaches, stomach pain, and low energy levels (9).
Silicon dioxide is used to thicken, stabilise, and preserve the powder held within the capsules and improve its texture. It is not known to cause any side effects, but it will not accelerate calorie burn or help you shed any extra pounds when used in the Fast Lean Pro supplement either (10).
Fast Lean Pro claims to support intermittent fasting and be one of the best ways to accelerate your weight loss journey in today's fast paced world. However, after conducting our own Fast Lean Pro review, it is clear that it will not help the human body shed pounds in the ways that the manufacturer claims it does.
From incorrect ingredient dosages and unproven ingredients to customer complaints that it does not aid weight loss or causes side effects, Fast Lean Pro fails in almost every way. That is why we would strongly suggest you do not but Fast Lean Pro and instead try an alternative with transparent dosing.
