KSM 66 Ashwagandha Root Extract 300 MG - KSM 66 ashwagandha root extract is a patented extract of the evergreen winter cherry plant, the roots of which have been used in ayurvedic medicine for centuries, due to the countless health benefits that have been linked to it. It is useful in fat burners as it can aid fat burning and prevent fat storage, while boosting testosterone, muscle size and strength, heart and brain health, and your memory, focus, and sleep, and reducing stress, anxiety, and blood sugar levels, which all improve your exercise performance and weight loss as well (1). Unfortunately, studies show that for optimal results to be produced, you must consume two 300 mg doses of ashwagandha each day. This means the single 300 mg dose used in Genius Burn is both too small and not spread out enough to really be effective.
Cognizin Citicoline 200 MG - Cognizin citicoline is a patented version of a variant of the amino acid choline that enhances the production of certain neurotransmitters in your brain. This improves both your physical and mental performance, and also boosts energy production, allowing you to train harder and burn fat and lose weight even faster (2). Taking citicoline even offers benefits beyond this, including reducing your cholesterol levels and the effects of aging, oxidative damage, and toxins, preventing cognitive decline, and helping improve brain health and mental alertness, many of which will improve weight loss and your performance in workouts even further. The problem is, the evidence suggests you must take at least 500 mg of citicoline each day to see any effects, and it can take as much as 2,000 mg to produce optimal results. This means the 200 mg in every dose of Genius Burn is highly likely to do absolutely nothing.
TeaCrine Theacrine 100 MG - Theacrine is an alkaloid many studies refer to as synthetic caffeine, as it is an energy booster with a similar structure that is believed to activate the same pathways and produce the same effects. This makes it quite an unusual and disingenuous ingredient to include in a weight loss supplement advertised as caffeine free. In fact, while more studies need to be conducted to fully assess tolerance, it is believed the body has a reduced tolerance to regular caffeine, meaning it poses a greater risk of adverse reactions. There is also a lack of certainty on whether it acts as a thermogenic fat burner in the same way as caffeine (3). You put all of this together and theacrine appears to be a very risky ingredient and its inclusion means that Genius Burn may not act like the caffeine free weight loss supplement that people are expecting.
GS4 Plus Gymnema Sylvestre Leaf 100 MG - Gymnema sylvestre is a vine found across the globe, the leaves of which have been used in ayurvedic medicine for decades to reduce cholesterol, inflammation, and the risk of heart disease. In recent times it has also started being put in weight loss dietary supplements, due to claims that it will provide appetite suppression, particularly when it comes to sweet foods, optimise your insulin and blood sugar levels, and reduce fat storage. However, not only have most of these claims not been conclusively proven, but even the studies that support its use say you must take 600 mg each day for it to boost your weight loss (4). This means the 100 mg of gymnema leaf extract in each serving of Genius Burn is highly unlikely to do anything at all.
L-Theanine 100 MG - L-theanine is an amino acid found in green tea extract that is well known to boost the immune system, reduce stress and anxiety, improve brain function, focus, relaxation, and sleep quality, and generally enhance your overall health and wellness. While many of these effects may not immediately seem to be of use in fat burning pills, they will enhance your ability to work out intensely for long periods and avoid becoming sick or injured, which would cause you to miss workouts, all of which will help you burn fat and calories and lose weight even faster. With 100 mg also being within the optimal daily dosage of l-theanine, this is a rare instance where Genius Burn contains an effective dose of a clinically proven ingredient (5).
Genius TruLean System 1 Paradoxine Afromomum Melegueta Seed 50 MG - Genius TruLean System 1 Paradoxine afromomum melegueta seed is a patrented version of an extract better known as grains of paradise that is used in Genius Brand supplements. A herb in the ginger family, grains of paradise is said to be extremely rich in ketones and essential oils. It is claimed to boost your weight loss results by enhancing your metabolic rate, making your body burn more calories and fat (especially from visceral fat stores), activating brown adipose tissue stores, and improving your testosterone levels and heart health. It is even said to reduce inflammation and fight bacteria, diabetes symptoms, and diarrhoea. Unfortunately, very few clinical studies have been done on the effect of grains of paradise and almost no conclusive proof has been produced. This means it is highly likely it will not deliver on its claimed benefits in Genius Burn (6).
Capsimax Capsicum Fruit Extract 25 MG - Capsimax capsicum fruit extract is a patented cayenne pepper extract rich in a chemical called capsaicin. A known thermogenic fat burner, it can raise your internal body temperature, boost fat oxidation, fat burning, and your metabolic rate, all of which will lead to more calories burned and greater overall weight loss. It is then also an appetite suppressant that will combat overeating and help you stick to a healthy diet free from unhealthy foods, which is essential for losing weight and accelerating fat loss, and it can even boost the absorption and efficacy of the other ingredients in weight loss pills (7). Unfortunately, these weight loss benefits will only be produced if you consume at least of 135 mg of capsicum fruit extract per day. With the Genius diet pills containing just a fraction of this at 25 mg, they are unlikely to produce any of the effects that this thermogenic fat burner is normally capable of.
AstraGin 25 MG - AstraGin is a proprietary blend of Panax ginseng root extract and astragalus membranaceus root extract. Panax ginseng root extract can improve mood, immunity, key brain functions, and your testosterone levels, all of which are beneficial to help you work out and keep losing weight, while it can also treat or prevent erectile dysfunction and many other illnesses, provided you take doses of at least 200 mg per day (8). Astragalus is a herbal extract produced from the roots of plants in the fabaceae family that has anti-inflammatory properties and can boost testosterone levels, blood flow, and heart, immune, and liver health, reduce cholesterol levels, and provide enhanced weight loss results, provided you take 30 mg per day (9). The problem is, while both of these ingredients can help with weight management, such small doses are present that even the use of proprietary blends can't hide the fact that they are insufficient. This means the presence of AstraGin in Genius Burn is guaranteed to have no effect on your weight loss results.
Huperzia Serrata Whole Plant Extract 5 MG - Huperzia serrata is a plant extract produced from a type of toothed clubmoss known as a firmoss which contains an acetylcholine inhibitor known as huperzine a. By inhibiting this enzyme, it is said to be capable or either reducing or preventing the breakdown of neurotransmitters, particularly in the elderly. It is claimed that this enables it to reduce occasional stress, mental decline, and the likelihood of developing a neurodegenerative disease, like Alzheimer's disease, while simultaneously being able to enhance mood, mental clarity, brain functions, sleep quality, focus, and memory (10). Unfortunately, not only have very few clinical trials been conducted on the effects of huperzine a and even fewer conclusive results been produced, but even its claimed benefits suggest it is best used in a brain health supplements and will be of little to no use in a diet pill. This means its inclusion the Genius diet pills is highly unlikely to offer any real benefits and virtually guaranteed to not aid weight or fat loss.
