Vitamin B6 (As Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) - 2 MG - Vitamin b6 is made up of 6 chemical compounds that are responsible for more than 140 different coenzyme reactions throughout the human body between them. It is sometimes put in testosterone boosters as it can help to prevent or slow your natural oestrogen production.
By keeping your oestrogen levels down, your hormone balance will shift and you will avoid experiencing any of the symptoms associated with low testosterone levels.
It can then also offer a range of health benefits beyond just balancing your hormone levels, such as boosting your metabolism of amino acids, fat, and glucose, enhancing the health and functions of the immune system, and increasing the production of neurotransmitters (1).
The issue is, research shows that the maximum daily dosage of vitamin b6 proven to be safe is 1.3 mg. With this Nugenix Test Booster containing a dosage that is more than 50% greater than this at 2 mg per serving, it is just too strong and puts you at great risk of experiencing a variety of unpleasant side effects.
Vitamin B12 (As Methylcobalamin) - 50 MCG - Vitamin b12 is essential for effective cellular metabolism, as well as for the metabolism of nutrients like carbs, fat, and protein. It supports the central nervous system, controls blood flow and the production of red blood cells, and improves bone marrow, DNA, and nerve sheath production and maintenance.
It is included in some testosterone boosters not because it will boost testosterone production itself, but because becoming deficient in it will cause your levels to drop even further and cause a range of issues.
So, while it may not necessarily boost testosterone levels that are already low, depending on the cause, it can prevent the issue from developing or getting any worse.
Unfortunately, this will only happen if you consume between 100 and 1000 mcg of vitamin b12 per day (2). As this Nugenix test booster contains just half of the minimum dose and a fraction of the optimal amount, it is simply far too weak to do you any good in a testosterone booster supplement such as this.
Zinc (As Zinc Chelate) - 1 MG - Zinc is a mineral and brittle metal element that is put in testosterone booster supplements as it stimulates the pituitary gland and causes it to increase the production of luteinizing hormone. As luteinizing hormone is required for the production of testosterone, increasing its production will boost t levels as well.
Taking supplements that contain the mineral will also benefit your overall health in a number of other ways too, including improving your immune system, metabolism, DNA synthesis, recovery time, and eyesight, and reducing inflammation and the signs of old age.
The problem is, for it to be of any use in a test booster supplement, you need to take a minimum of 10 mg per day (3). As a serving of this Nugenix test booster supplement contains just a single gram, it is simply far too weak and virtually guaranteed to be of no use whatsoever.

L-Citrulline Malate - Citrulline malate is a compound made up of the amino acid citrulline and malic acid.
Citrulline is converted into another amino acid, l-arginine, in the kidneys. This gives your body the ability to naturally boost its nitric oxide production, which will enhance your endurance, focus, energy levels, workout and sexual performance, heart health, and blood flow, and help to prevent erectile dysfunction.
Malic acid then aids ATP production, so it is ideal to improve power in short, explosive movements, such as those you would perform when lifting weights. This means it can be of use when your goal is to increase your strength or lean muscle mass.
There are, however, a few issues with the inclusion of citrulline malate in a supplement like this though.
For starters, while it may be able to promote improvements in your strength, muscle mass, and sexual health, it will not actually boost your testosterone production or testosterone levels. Then there is the fact that you will only see any benefits from taking citrulline malate if you use at least 6 grams per day (4).
While we do not know exactly how much citrulline malate is present in this Nugenix test booster, due to the proprietary blend they have used, the fact that the dose you would need to take is roughly three times the weight of the entire blend means it just is not possible for enough to be present to be of any use.
TestoFen Fenugreek Seed Extract (50% Fenuside) - Testofen is a patented fenugreek seed extract that must contain a fenuside content of at least of 50%.
Research show that fenugreek seed extract can help boost low testosterone levels, increase sex drive, help you build lean muscle, and enhance the reproductive functions of adult males. There is also evidence that it can even reduce high sugar and cholesterol levels and combat health issues like diabetes as well.
The issue is, at least 600 mg of fenugreek seed extract is required every day in order to boost testosterone production and t levels and produce results, while 1,000 mg per day is the daily dosage required for it to produce the optimal results it is capable of (5).
While it is possible that this Nugenix test booster has either of these amounts of fenugreek seed extract, the proprietary blend makes it impossible for us to know for sure. It is also very unlikely that it contains the optimal dose, so it should not be counted on to produce any significant changes in your t levels.
Tribulus Fruit Extract - Tribulus fruit extract has been used in traditional medicines around the world for centuries, due to the incredible range of benefits that it is said to offer the human body.
This includes it being able to boost libido and sex drive, functions, and performance, especially in men, prevent poor sexual health and issues like erectile dysfunction, and enhance your heart health.
These claimed benefits have led to tribulus terrestris extract often being put in many natural testosterone boosters. Unfortunately, there is little to no conclusive evidence to prove that tribulus fruit extract has any effect on your natural testosterone levels at all (6).
This means it is just as likely that the presence of tribulus fruit extract in this Nugenix test booster does absolutely nothing as it is that it will benefit you in any way.
Other Ingredients - Beyond the active ingredients that it contains, this Nugenix test booster supplement also contains a pair of other ingredients, which are gelatin and magnesium stearate.
Magnesium stearate is only included to boost the bulk, stability, and texture of the powder within the capsules, and will not benefit your health or testosterone levels or production in any way or provide any other positive effects of any kind.
It could, however, lead to some people experiencing negative side effects, such as bloating, gas, depression, diarrhoea, forgetfulness, headaches, stomach pain, and low energy levels (7).
Gelatin will also not have a beneficial effect on your health, as it is used purely to create the capsule and make it smooth and easy to consume. However, it too can also cause side effects, such as bloating, diarrhoea, gas, heartburn, and nausea (8).
