200mg L Theanine - 200mg has been shown to be effective to improve sleep quality although 250mg is generally considered better. There have been trials that has shown it has an impact on brain waves and the amino acid commonly found in green tea is a good inclusion, unfortunately that's where the good news for our Neuriva relax & sleep review ends.
120mg Ashwagandha - Ashwagandha really needs to be dosed at 300mg, there have been some minor studies which have shown 120mg to be effective, but more that show the contrary, it's possible that some hyper responders could get some benefit from such a low dose, but it's not generally considered ideal. Ashwagandha works to promote sleep and even helps your body purge cortisol the stress hormone, so the ingredient itself is good, it's just not enough for Neuriva relax & sleep.
Neuriva Sleep Plus
Neuriva sleep plus contains the same ingredients as Neuriva relax & sleep as well as melatonin.
1mg Melatonin - Melatonin has been shown to be an effective sleep aid and is prescribed in many countries. The catch is that the starting dose is usually 3mg. It's the natural hormone that your body produces to let it know that it's time to sleep. Again a good ingredient just poorly executed, as far as claiming that their sleep aid contains clinically tested ingredients however, this does mean the sleep capsules are technically not lying, it's just playing a bit loose with the claims. It's generally well tolerated in adults and carries much less of a risk of being habit forming than other sleep aids.
