SkinnyFit Skinny Greens Reviews

Does SkinnyFit Skinny Greens Work?

SkinnyFit Greens Is A Bit Of A Misnomer

There is one thing that makes Skinny Greens stand apart from other greens powder supplements: and that's simply that Skinny Greens claims to being a weight loss aid in addition to a multitude of other health benefits. It almost feels too good to be true. A greens powder supplement that promises all the health benefits other supplements offer as well but adding weight loss into the mix.

That’s because quite frankly it is too good to be true.

A lot of the weight loss claim is leveraged on the use of Glucomannan, which does make it into a lot of the best weight loss aids on the market. The problem is that for it to be effective it needs to be dosed at around 2000mg, this is because the supplement swells 50X larger in the stomach, making 2000mg approximately the size of a bagel. Skinny Greens contains less than 300mg, which obviously is quite a way short of 2000mg it would need to be effective. As for the other “weight loss ingredients” in skinny greens, they’re not particularly well backed, and are generally considered sub par ingredients for weight loss supplements.

As for whether or not it will help support your nutrient intake whilst on a diet, it definitely holds up that side of the bargain, but then again, so do most of the other better greens powders available.

In short, if you want a fat burner or weight loss aid, you’re better off buying a supplement designed for this, and the same applies for greens powders, you’re better off getting something else.

What Does Skinny Greens Taste Like?

The taste of any powder supplement is important. Especially if you want to use it to lose weight you want the supplement to have a nice flavor. This helps with keeping it in your routine every day. Skinny Greens has green apple flavoring to give it its taste.

Customers Skinny Greens reviews are very mixed when it comes to taste. Some people seem to love it while others hate it. Some of the people that don't like the taste feel like it has an aftertaste that is unpleasant.

Luckily the taste is not very intense which means it can easily be mixed into another drink if you find the taste too strong to drink it mixed only with water. The powder mixes very well into any liquid and does not leave the mixture grainy at all. So if you already have a specific drink or smoothie in your diet in which you can mix the powder you can mask the taste easily.

SkinnyFit Review FAQ

We answer some of the most commonly asked questions in Skinnyfit Greens Reviews.

Are Skinny Greens Worth It?

There are much better value options than skinny fit, and they're definitely not worth it if your main focus is the weight loss effects that they market themselves for. If you're interested in appetite suppressants of weight loss aids, you'd be much better off getting a dedicated fat burner .

Skinny Fit Skinny Greens Formula

The Skinny Greens powder supplement consists of proprietary blends which mean we don´t know exactly what is inside. This is a shame because it makes it harder to evaluate how well the supplement works. Ingredients are listed from most to least included, so by looking at the ingredients list we can gather some information.

Wholesome Superfood Blend (3,405 mg):

Lemon Juice Powder, Organic Chlorella Powder, Organic Spirulina (whole plant), Spinach Leaf Powder, Organic Wheat Grass Powder, Organic Matcha (leaves), Alfalfa Powder (aerial parts), Organic Moringa Leaf Powder, Artichoke Extract (leaves).

In the Wholesome Superfood Blend there are some ingredients that can help you strengthen your immune systems and overall health in general, like spirulina, chorella and artichoke leaf. Even though these ingredients can definitely help with your immune system in the right doses we do not know how much Skinny Greens actually contains. Because of these proprietary blends they use it is difficult to say what the exact impact is of taking this supplement, but generally speaking there’s nothing wrong with this particularly.

Gut-Renewing Probiotic Blend & Digestive Enzyme Blend:(2530 mg):

Acacia Fiber (sap), Bromelain, Amylase, Lactase, Cellulase, Protease, Lipase. Probiotic Blend (500 million CFU): Bifidobacterium lactis, B. breve, B. longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, L. casei, L. plantarum, L. paracasei, L. salivarius, L. rhamnosus, L. bulgaricus.

This is all fine, although there are some questions as to how well these enzymes will reach the gut in this form, it’s pretty common for greens powders, and it’s not much of a negative for our skinny greens review as it will still have some benefit to gut health, even if it's not quite as much as you'd get from a dedicated probiotic, which is pretty much par for the course with skinny fit greens, it's a nice extra, but not as good as a dedicated supplement.

Mood-Boosting Adaptogen Blend (670 mg):

Coconut Water Powder, Turmeric Root Extract, Ashwagandha Root Powder, American Ginseng Root Extract, Rhodiola Root Powder.

The Mood Boosting Adaptogen Blend does include turmeric, which is known to reduce inflammation. The same blend also consists of ashwagandha which can aid in reducing cortisol levels. This can suppress inflammation. The catch, the dosages are far too low, Ashwagandha alone needs to be dosed at 670mg and turmeric, when not a curcumin extract needs to be in the 1000’s of mg to be effective. When we compare this to products like Super Green Tonik, which actually tell you the dosages in their product and contain the right amounts, we can see that these proprietary blends are just there to hide the Skinny Greens inadequacies.

Waist-Slimming Blend (320 mg):

Glucomannan (root), Green Tea Leaf Extract, Apple Cider Vinegar.

The Waist-Slimming Blend of Skinny Greens consists of glucomannan, green tea leaf extract and apple cider vinegar, which may not sound so bad, Glucommanan is a good weight loss ingredient, but there is a catch. Glucomannan has been mentioned to assist in weight loss in multiple studies. One study which was published by the International Journal of Obesity said that 'Results showed a significant mean weight loss (5.5 lbs) using glucomannan over an eight-week period.' [1].

The catch that we mentioned is of course that the dosage is ultimately too low in Skinny Greens. As for Green Tea and apple cider vinegar, they are mildly effective ingredients, but again, not in this dosage. In short Skinny Greens health benefits, despite the name, do not include weight loss.

Skinnyfit Skinny Greens Review Conclusion

The main claim of Skinny Greens powder supplement is that it can help you lose weight. Which means that Skinny Greens is likely to fail quite miserably, and a lot of customer reviews of Skinny Greens highlight this fact.

As for weather or not it’s a good greens powder, well it doesn’t really stack up particularly well on that count either. With there being a host of better tasting, better value and with better brain and mood boosting ingredients available. There are other a lot of better powder supplements that have a higher nutritional contribution to your diet.

We would not say Skinny Greens is one of the better greens powder supplements on the market for high impact nutritional intake or for people who are looking for something very specific to fit in their diet. All in all we’d say get a weight loss aid and a better greens powder instead of skinny greens.

As a basic greens blend it's mediocre, and when it comes to skinny greens weight loss reviews, we can't find much positive to say.
