Primal Mind Fuel Reviews

Is Primal Mind Fuel Any Good?

A couple of good ingredients, but Primal Mind Fuel is overpriced for what it is.

Primal Mind Fuel is a natural supplement manufactured by Primal Harvest. Designed as a brain supplement, its "natural cognitive support formula" has been put together to help improve your attention, memory, and focus, as well as your overall brain health.

Primal Harvest even say it promotes improved mental clarity and energy, mood, and alertness, and helps you achieve a healthy stress response, all while offering all the benefits you'd expect from a nootropic or smart drug. Unfortunately, closer analysis reveals that this is not the case.

The Primal Harvest Mind Fuel formula is broken into two proprietary blends, the Cogniplex B Vitamins blend and the NeuroSmart Proprietary Blend. This is a red flag from the get go, as proprietary blends are often used to mask deficiencies in dietary supplements.

The Cogniplex B Vitamins blend contains the b vitamins cyanocobalamin, thiamine, and pyridoxin hcl.

The NeuroSmart Proprietary Blend then has caffeine anhydrous, l-ornithine hcl, l-tyrosine, theobromine, rhodiola rosea extract, bacopa monnieri extract, glucuronolactone, and huperzine a.

While most of these ingredients can indeed benefit your brain health and cognitive abilities, the doses used are simply far too low to be of any use. You then have one that is too strong and likely to cause primal mind fuel side effects, as well as a number that have not been proven to actually work.

Even when looking at the reviews from past customers you see clear issues. While there are some people who say that it does offer some mild benefits, there are plenty more who say it does nothing or even has the ability to cause unpleasant side effects.

Being dairy free, gluten free, and soy free, and having a fairly reasonable price tag are all appealing qualities. However, they just don't make up for its many shortcomings, which is why we suggest that you do not buy Primal Mind Fuel capsules.

Instead, we recommend you give Hunter Focus a try. A nootropic supplement that uses only optimal doses of all the proven ingredients in Primal Mind and a dozen more. Meaning it will actually promote optimal cognitive wellness and brain health, without putting you at risk of any side effects, to help you achieve peace of mind.

Customers Primal Mind Fuel Reviews

Primal Mind Fuel reviews from customers aren't awful, but they are not great either, and the brain supplement currently has an average rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars on Amazon. Although there are a lof of obviously fake ones in here, for example some people talking about how great the product tastes.... Of course a capsule product wouldn't have a taste... It actually looks more like 2.9-3.1 when we account for the fakes.

Among the positive reviews of the Primal Harvest nootropic supplement, some users did mention feeling a slight boost in mental focus and energy, as well as a measure of memory support and improved recall after taking the product. However, most of these reviews did come with an asterix, such as the effects only being mild or the user suffering from ADHD.

On the other hand, negative Primal Mind Fuel reviews mentioned issues like seeing no benefit to their cognitive health, as well as experiencing side effects like a dry mouth, nausea, jitters, increased aggression or anxiety, dizziness, headaches, migraines, confusion, and tiredness. This leads us to draw the conclusion that, as taking Primal Mind Fuel is not guaranteed to lead to optimal cognitive wellness, it simply is not worth taking the risk on for most healthy adults.

Primal Mind Fuel Ingredients

Cogniplex B Vitamins

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxin HCL) 10 MG - Vitamin b6 (pyridoxin hcl) is extremely beneficial for the metabolism of amino acids, fat, and glucose, as well as the production of neurotransmitters, immune and cognitive functions, and overall mental clarity. The problem is, studies suggest that 1.7 mg is the maximum dose that is safe to take each day. This means that the 1o mg present in each serving of Primal Mind Fuel is far too strong and highly likely to cause side effects (1).

Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) 6 MCG - Vitamin b12 (cyanocobalamin) is an essential vitamin that is vital for proper nerve and brain function and development. Ensuring that you get enough vitamin b12 will also boost your bone marrow, nerve, red blood cell, DNA, and testosterone production, and metabolic rate, and prevent brain fog, depression, mental decline, mood swings, and issues like vascular dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Unfortunately, in order for it to produce any of these effects, you must consume at least 1,000 mcg of vitamin b12 per day (2). This means, with Primal Mind Fuel containing just 6 mcg in every dose, it is guaranteed that there simply is not enough present to be of any use.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) 2.5 MG - Vitamin b1 (thiamine) is an essential vitamin, particularly for young people, as it promotes growth and the break down of amino acids. This is beneficial in a nootropic supplement as it will boost your mental energy levels and alertness. Yet again though, the dose of vitamin b1 present in Primal Mind Fuel is far too strong. With 1.5 mg of vitamin b1 listed as the maximum safe daily dosage, the 2.5 mg seen here puts you at great risk of experiencing side effects (3).

NeuroSmart Proprietary Blend - 314.05 MG

Caffeine Anhydrous - Caffeine anhydrous is a dehydrated version caffeine, which is among the most popular and powerful stimulants on Earth. It is best known for boosting energy levels, metabolism, and fat burning, but it is also put in cognitive support supplements as it improves mental focus and concentration, alertness, and brain energy, and reduces tiredness and mental fatigue. The issue is, it takes at least 200 mg of caffeine anhydrous per day to produce these effects (4). While Primal Mind Fuel hides the dose of caffeine anhydrous that is present in a proprietary blend, the entire blend weighing just 314.05 mg makes it highly unlikely that it contains enough to be of any real use.

L-Ornithine HCL - Ornithine is an amino acid that is involved in the urea cycle and the production of polyamines, cells, collagen, hormones, and amino acid derivatives. There is also some evidence that it can help to improve physical performance and reduce fatigue, help with liver issues, and prevent brain fog and the loss of cognitive functions in people already suffering with an advanced liver disease, such as cirrhosis. Unfortunately, not only is there limited evidence to back up the claims that it can improve brain health, but even the studies that promote it show that it is only effective for people with advanced liver issues and is most effective when administered intravenously (5). This means its inclusion in a nootropic brain supplement like Primal Mind Fuel is virtually guaranteed to be of no use to mostly healthy adults.

L-Tyrosine - L-tyrosine is an essential amino acid that is vital for the regulation of neurotransmitters present in the plasma. As a result, keeping your l-tyrosine levels up offers a range of mental performance benefits that includes improving your brain function, mood, memory, and focus, preventing mental fatigue and tiredness, and relieving stress (6). As is the theme with the ingredients in Primal Mind Fuel though, the dose present is simply far too low to produce these effects. With 500 mg of l-tyrosine each day required for it to be beneficial, even the proprietary blend can't the fact that there isn't enough here to be of use.

Theobromine - Theobromine is a chemical that is most commonly found in cocoa beans which produces a similar effect to caffeine, although it doesn't last as long. It also offers a number of similar benefits, including improved mood and mental energy levels and reduced appetite. 500 mg of theobromine is required to produce these effects though (7). This, unsurprisingly, means that even the 314.05 mg proprietary blend in Primal Mind Fuel can't hide the fact that there simply is not enough present to be of any real use.

Rhodiola Rosea Extract - Rhodiola rosea extract comes from the Arctic flowering plant of the same name and contains countless micronutrients. It has long been used in herbal medicine, due to claims that it has adaptogenic properties and offers a range of mental health benefits. It is said to boost cognitive function, mental energy, metabolic processes, mood, focus, and concentration, reduce anxiety, depression, fatigue, stress, and inflammation, improve your overall health, and even combat certain medical concerns (8).

Unfortunately, even though the evidence for rhodiola rosea's effect on brain health is pretty good, most of the studies that have been done agree that at least 50 mg must be consumed each day for it to be beneficial. And ideally over 100mg. As the entire proprietary blend that it is contained in weighs just 314.05 mg and it is way down the list, (proprietary blends must be ordered by ingredient size) it is simply impossible for Primal Mind Fuel to contain enough rhodiola rosea to be of use, even if it is proven to be beneficial for healthy cognitive function in the future. Perhaps worse still is the fact that there have even been effects linked to the use of rhodiola rosea, such as dizziness, dry mouth, and negative interactions with other drugs in your system.

Bacopa Monnieri Extract - Bacopa monnieri extract is from a tropical aquatic plant in the plantain family that has been used in traditional medicine for decades. It is said to improve brain function, reduce anxiety, promote a healthy stress response, and combat various chronic mental and physical issues (9). However, while the early evidence is indeed encouraging, none of the claims regarding bacopa monnieri extract have ever been proven. This means it is very possible that its inclusion in the Primal Mind Fuel formula will offer no brain performance benefits at all.

D-Glucuronoloctone - Glucuronolactone, or glucuronoloctone, is a naturally occurring chemical commonly found in energy drinks that are made from natural ingredients. It is claimed to reduce brain fog, boost energy levels, and improve cognitive performance and functions. Unfortunately, despite it being very widely used, little scientific study has actually been done on glucuronolactone (10). This means there is no proof that it will actually provide any benefits when it is consumed in a brain support supplement like Primal Mind Fuel.

Huperzine A - Huperzine a is extracted from the firmoss huperzine serrata and is said to inhibit the enzyme acetylcholine, preventing the breakdown of neurotransmitters, especially in older adults. This would allow it to slow or even prevent cognitive decline and the development of issues like Alzheimer's disease, while also improving mental function, sleep quality, memory, and focus (11).  Yet again though, there is an issue with its presence in the formula, as there been a limited number of studies done on humans that actually proves huperzine a will benefit their cognitive abilities or rate of aging. It therefore can't be relied upon to offer any benefits in the Primal Mind Fuel formula.

Primal Mind Fuel Review Conclusion

On the surface, Primal Mind Fuel contains plenty of natural ingredients that should make it an effective brain support supplement. Unfortunately, the way in which Primal Harvest has used them means that this is simply not going to be the case.

From doses that are either too strong or too weak and unproven ingredients to complaints from past customers that the product causes side effects or simply doesn't work, it just is not worth taking the risk on. That is why we advise against purchasing Primal Mind Fuel.

Instead, we recommend you give Hunter Focus a try. A nootropic supplement that is made from nothing but optimal doses of proven ingredients, it truly enhances cognitive abilities and health, delivering all of the benefits that you could ask for from a brain support supplement. And it's transparent in it's labelling and 3rd party tested, with no need to hide behind "propreitary" blends.
