KaraMD Pure Nature is another superfood supplement that tries to set itself apart from normal fruit and vegetable powders by coming in capsule form. Pure Nature's producers claim that it supports your nutrient intake, healthy energy levels, a more robust immune system, and good general health.

If Pure Nature could deliver on these claims, it would easily be one of the most convenient whole food nutritional supplements on the market today. Unfortunately, after conducting a thorough KaraMD Pure Nature review, it quickly became clear that the claims on the Pure Nature product page simply are not true. The problem is quite simply one of space, even with 4 capsules a day you have only 4 grams to play with. When we compare this with a greens powder, it's 3 times lower, and most greens powders don't get enough of their most useful ingredients.

The ingredients in KaraMD Pure Nature's recipe are split into two proprietary blends, the Pure Greens Blend and the Fruit And Vegetable Blend. This is always an immediate red flag, as proprietary blends are usually only used to hide poor dosages in dietary supplements, which is exactly what is happening here.

In fact, while virtually every proven ingredient is present in a dosage far lower than what is required in an effective vegetable and fruit supplement, others have no conclusive evidence that they will do anything unless you consume the fresh fruits and vegetables themselves.

Alfalfa is a flowering plant rich in a powerful antioxidant called pinitol that studies on internal medicine say can boost your liver, kidney, and digestive health and functions, while reducing inflammation and providing support to various other organs.

The problems is, these effects have only ever been seen in people who consume large amounts of fresh alfalfa. That means the powdered version present in KaraMD Pure Nature is highly unlikely to provide any health benefits (1).

Barley Grass Leaf

Barley grass is a grass and cereal grain that contains a diverse variety of nutrients that can provide an equally wide range of health benefits. This includes being able to improve your heart health, boost fat loss, and lower your cholesterol and blood sugar levels (2).

Unfortunately, these benefits will only be seen in people who consume at least 5 grams of barley grass per day. As this is more than triple the entire weight of the blend it is located in, KaraMD Pure Nature just can't possibly contain enough barley grass to be of any use.

Organic Oat Grass

Oat grass is similar to the grass that the common oat comes from and is believed to contain high concentrations of protein, dietary fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals, which would allow it to enhance the health of your skin, gut, and immune system (9).

The issue is, further research needs to be done on oat grass, as what has been conducted has never produced evidence to back up these claims. This means there is a high chance that its presence in KaraMD Pure Nature will do absolutely nothing.

Kale Aerial Parts

Kale is one of the most widely consumed leafy greens on Earth. Rich in phytochemicals, minerals, vitamin b6, vitamin c, and vitamin k, it can deliver a great many health benefits to the human body, including reducing inflammation and reducing your LDL cholesterol levels and risk of developing heart disease (4).

However, these effects will only be produced if you consume at least 5 grams of kale per day. With this again being more than triple the entire weight of the Pure Greens Blend that it is located in, the kale content of KaraMD Pure Nature simply is not going to be strong enough to do you any good.

Cabbage Leaf

Cabbage is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals and has long been known to be very beneficial to human health when consumed as part of a healthy diet. Among its most popularly touted benefits are an ability to boost your gut and digestive health and reduce inflammation (5).

The problem is, these benefits are only proven to be produced by fresh cabbage, so there is no evidence that the powdered cabbage present in KaraMD Pure Nature will do anything for you at all.

Cauliflower Crown

Cauliflower has a high density of essential nutrients and there is evidence that it can reduce inflammation and the signs of aging, combat certain other chronic diseases, detoxify the body, boost skin health, and aid weight loss and digestion (6).

However, as these benefits have only ever been seen in fresh cauliflower, its powdered form being included in KaraMD Pure Nature is likely pointless.

Parsley Leaf

Parsley boasts a range of nutrients and antioxidants that boost your bone, eye, heart, and immune health and functions, combat bacteria, chronic diseases, and viruses, and benefit the human body in various other ways (7).

These benefits have only ever been produced by consuming fresh parsley though, so the powdered version found in KaraMD Pure Nature is highly unlikely to replicate them.

Cucumber Fruit

Cucumber is rich in vitamin k, which can improve your bone, blood, and heart health, while it can also keep your body hydrated, improve digestion, and combat certain chronic diseases. Yet again though, this is only true of fresh cucumber, so the powdered cucumber in KaraMD Pure Nature is likely to do nothing at all (8).

Celery Seed

Celery is full of antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and nitrates that benefit the human body in countless different ways when it is eaten as part of a healthy diet. However, as these benefits have never been shown to be produced by celery powder, its inclusion in KaraMD Pure Nature is likely of no use (9).

Asparagus Aerial Parts Extract

Asparagus contains various essential nutrients, including amino acids, minerals, and vitamins, and is linked to a wide range of health benefits. It is said to aid weight loss, improve the health of your gut, urinary tract, and reproductive organs, and reduce inflammation and blood sugar levels.

While it appears these benefits may be produced by its powdered form as well, you must consume at least 200 mg each day for it to do so (10). As this is more than can possibly be present in KaraMD Pure Nature, its inclusion is essentially pointless.

Fruit And Vegetable Blend - 1,200 MG

Apple Fruit Fiber

Fresh apples are rich in vitamin c and intrinsically linked to their ability to boost the human immune system, and it can even benefit the digestive system as well.

The issue is, these benefits have never been proven to be produced by apple fruit fiber powder, so there is a very high chance that its presence in KaraMD Pure Nature is completely pointless (11).

Beet Root

Beets are full of antioxidants, folate, nitrate, potassium, and vitamin c, and can offer an insane range of benefits.

This includes it reducing inflammation and blood pressure and cholesterol levels, improving your eye, heart, and immune system health and functions, boosting stamina and energy levels, protecting your blood and internal organs from toxicity and damage, and combatting a whole range of different diseases (12).

The problem is, you will only see these effects if you consume at least 1,000 mg of beets per day. While we do not know the exact dose of beets present in KaraMD Pure Nature, the weight of the blend it is in, as well as its place in it, means this quantity simply can't be present.

Carrot Root

Carrots contain large amounts of vitamin a and beta carotene, which makes them a great way improve your vision and the health of your eyes and immune system.

Unfortunately, while this is true of fresh carrots, there is no evidence that these benefits are transferred to carrot root powder. This means there is a high chance that its inclusion in KaraMD Pure Nature will do you no good at all (13).

Tomato Fruit Extract

Garlic Bulb

Garlic is a potent antioxidant that can help reduce inflammation and improve your cardiovascular health. However, as at least 600 mg is required each day for it to do so, the quantity present in KaraMD Pure Nature is visibly too small to serve any real purpose (15).

Blueberry Fruit

Blueberries are rich in anthocyanin antioxidants that enhance your brain, liver and cardiovascular health and functions, while helping to reduce inflammation and prevent oxidative stress and damage (16).

Unfortunately, 5.5 grams of blueberries must be consumed each day to see these effects. With KaraMD Pure Nature not being able to contain even a fraction of this, its presence is guaranteed to be of no use.

Ginger Root

Ginger root has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that allow it to prevent oxidative stress and joint pain, reduce cholesterol levels, and boost joint health, digestion, and the immune system, while making all of the other ingredients in a dietary supplement more effective and easier to absorb (17).

The problem is, you will only see any of these benefits if you consume at least 1 gram of ginger per day, which is far more than KaraMD Pure Nature can possibly contain.

Strawberry Fruit, Raspberry Fruit Juice & Red Bell Pepper Fruit

I will lump the final three ingredients in the Fruit And Vegetable Blend together as they are all in the same position.

While each is very beneficial to your health if eaten fresh, the dehydrated fruits either do not produce these benefits in this form or have been used in far to small of a dose to do so, meaning their presence in KaraMD Pure Nature will not deliver these health effects.
