Nested Naturals Super Greens is marketed as a green powder food supplement aimed at the vegan and vegetarian market. The manufacturers claim their product helps to improve energy, digestion, immunity, and more.
The manufacturer, Nested Naturals, is a Canadian-based company with good ethics. The company's philosophy is based on transparency, sustainability, and Good Manufacturing Practices. They have their heart in a good place and donate some of their profits to Vitamin Angels, a non-profit organisation that works to stamp out malnutrition worldwide.
However, while the manufacturer has packed Super Greens with plenty of ingredients, one of our primary concerns is that you may not get enough of these nutrients in a single serving for it to be effective. The reality is nested naturals biggest selling point is that it's available on Amazon.
With Super Greens measuring out at around 8,000 milligrams per serving, it is a meagre amount compared to some of the better green powder products on the market. For example, a quick comparison with our recommended green powder food supplements will show that better-quality ones provide 15,000 milligrams of nutrients per serving. That is almost twice as much bang for your buck.
You have to question whether it makes sense to buy Nested Naturals Super Greens powder supplement when better greens powders are available that may be a more cost-effective way to go.
Bad. Nested Naturals are one of the worst super greens powders that we've tried. Unfortunately we think the fact they were early to amazon is why they're so popular.
it does mix reasonably well, which is a positive, meaning if you mix it into a smoothie it's not bad. But we wouldn't really recommend drinking it straight.
The flavored options are a little bit better, but these still aren't great. Nested Naturals are a bit out of date in most ways and flavor is one of the biggest issues.
If we're being completely frank, Nested Naturals Super Greens is not a great option for very much.

We found thousands of customer reviews for Nested Naturals
Super Greens across various selling platforms and websites. On closer
inspection, we found customer opinion to be pretty split on this product, with
an average of 3 out of 5-star ratings.
The main complaint about Super Greens from customers is over the poor taste. And unfortunately we have to agree. Many customers found Super Greens to taste bitter and have an unappealing smell compared to other super greens products.
Most found it easier to drink when blended with something else to mask the taste and smell, such as incorporating it into a smoothie and the chocolate flavor does fair a bit better, averaging about 4*, but a lot of these reviews look suspicious.
We answer some of the most commonly asked questions in Nested Naturals Super Greens Reviews.
The powder is fine in consistency and mixes well with water when using a blender. We recommend drinking it right away in one go rather than taking it to work with you to drink later in the day, as it tends to clump. It also smells and tastes more unpleasant when left to stand for any length of time.
This blend of green vegetables, fruits, algae and trace
ingredients has been formulated to boost your digestive health, immunity and
energy levels. But this is no different to any other green powder food
supplement on the market.
As we mentioned earlier, while some good quality ingredients
are included in the formula that we expect to see in a top-rated product, there
isn't enough of anything per dose that will make any significant difference to
The Nested Naturals Super Greens ingredients list includes:
Their formulation is made up of blends that are supposed to benefit you differently. Let's take a closer look at these blends and the claims Nested Naturals make for them. Alkalising blend: This alkalising blend is supposed to detox, cleanse and 'alkalise' your system. The blend totals 3,900 milligrams and is made up of barley grass, wheat grass, alfalfa grass, spirulina, chlorella, spinach, and broccoli.
Fibre blend: The fibre blend makes up 2,700 milligrams of each serving. The fibre content comes from plant-based sources such as apple, rice bran, and artichoke.
Antioxidant immune blend: While this blend does carry some excellent ingredients, including beetroot, acerola extract, eleuthero root, echinacea, acai juice, green tea, milk thistle, ginkgo leaf, raspberry, and blueberry, this blend only provides 1,000 milligrams worth of nutrients per serving, which means they are way under-dosed to be of any benefit.
Probiotic blend: We know that good probiotics aid digestion and help us better utilise available nutrients. But this Super Greens blend only offers 1.5 billion CFU, which is very weak. It may sound like a lot, but other brands contain as much as 2.5 million, so you can see how much it lacks.
DigeZyme (Digestive Enzyme Blend): Adding digestive enzymes to any green powder blend is a good move because plant-based ingredients are less bioavailable than animal-based alternatives, meaning our digestion has to work harder to break down and absorb nutrients from these sources. However, Super Greens only provides 67 milligrams per serving, so that amount won't help much.

We are not saying that Nested Naturals Super Greens is a bad product, just that it is pretty weak and doesn't add enough value to make it score highly on our list of approved green powder food supplements.
