Menoslim Tea is a weight loss supplement designed by VoomVaya specifically to help decrease menopause symptoms. It is said to be capable of balancing low estrogen levels, reducing hot flashes and night sweats, promoting weight loss and fat burning, and preventing fatigue, bloating, mood swings, and "meno-belly".
Menoslim Tea claims to help with all of these menopausal symptoms while using only natural ingredients and no fillers, binders, preservatives, GMOs, gluten, MSG, or sugar. Unfortunately, after conducting our own Menoslim Tea reviews, it has become very clear that it will not aid menopausal women like it says.
The Menoslim Tea ingredients are all organic and consist of ginkgo leaf, dandelion leaf, rooibos tea leaf, licorice root, black cohosh, cardamom seed pod, and matcha green tea leaf extracts. It then also includes a natural flavouring which will vary depending on whether you select acai berry and apple cinnamon flavour.
The problems begin as soon as you realise that all of the ingredients present have been lumped together in a single proprietary blend. These are always an immediate red flag with any dietary supplement, as they are almost exclusively used to hide insufficient and ineffective ingredient dosages in a low quality product.
While the blend does achieve its goal on some of the ingredients as it makes it impossible to know for sure whether or not a sufficient dose is present, there are plenty of the ingredients that are so under-dosed that they are still obvious to see, which gives us a good idea of what the rest of the dosages actually look like.
Things then only get worse when you realise that a number of the ingredients have no conclusive evidence that they will help promote weight loss, combat menopause symptoms, or do anything at all for that matter.
As if all of this was not bad enough, a plethora of complaints from past users about the effects and quality of both the product and the brand in general should give you a good idea of how wise it would be to steer well clear of this supplement, even if the reasonable price tag or choice of flavours may be drawing you in.
So, while Menoslim Tea promises to promote weight loss and combat menopausal symptoms, it is simply not equipped to do so. That is why we highly recommend that you do not buy Menoslim Tea there are far better supplements to help with menopause weight loss, and in 99% of cases a standard weight loss aid for women would be far more effective.
Menoslim weight loss teas have a fairly positive score with past users, as it currently holds a 4.1 out of 5 stars rating on Amazon. However, things start to look a little less rosy when we look at the individual customer reviews of Menoslim Tea themselves.
While a couple of the positive reviews are from women who mention that they experienced mild body weight loss or improved digestion, most focused primarily on the fact that they enjoyed the taste.
While the fact you will be drinking tea regularly means enjoyability is important, it means nothing if you are not going to see Menoslim Tea work in the way that you expect.
When looking at the negative reviews though, we discovered a very different experience.
Not only did many women claim to hate the taste of Menoslim Tea, but most said that it did not benefit their menopausal symptoms in the slightest, while you also had women complaining about things like the tea bag not working well, it being too pricey, and the Menoslim Tea return policy not being honoured.
There were even women who reported experiencing side effects like diarrhoea, stomach aches, excessive sweating, heartburn, it worsening irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) symptoms, causing an allergic reaction, or even making their hot flashes worse.
You put all of this together and it supports our initial beliefs that Menoslim Tea is simply not going to support menopause weight loss and help women live positive and happy lives like the brand are claiming, so is a supplement that is best off being avoided at all costs.
Menoslim Tea Proprietary Blend - 2 Grams
Organic Ginkgo Leaf - The leaf extracts from the ginkgo biloba plant have antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties that will boost heart, eye, and brain health and functions, mental clarity and performance, concentration, memory recall, and blood flow to the brain, at the same time as preventing oxidative stress and neurotoxic effects. However, while there are also claims that ginkgo leaf can affect your hormone levels, they are completely unproven. Meanwhile, there is no evidence whatsoever that it benefits people losing weight in any way (1). This means it is very unlikely that ginkgo leaf extract will add any benefits to a supplement designed to combat menopausal weight gain, such as Menoslim Tea.
Organic Dandelion Leaf - Dandelion leaf extract is full of potassium and claimed to offer a variety of health benefits that would be very useful for menopausal women, such as helping to prevent bloating, water retention, and weight gain, improve digestion and liver and gut health and functions, and protect the pancreas and other organs (2). Unfortunately, not only is there no conclusive evidence that dandelion leaf will actually deliver any of these benefits, but even the studies which believe it can say that doses far greater than the entire weight of the blend it is in are required to do so. This makes it very unlikely that the presence of dandelion extract in Menoslim Tea serves any real purpose.
Organic Rooibos Leaf - Rooibos tea is a sweet herbal tea that contains a potent antioxidant called aspalathin. It is thought to induce relaxation, alleviate intestinal issues, improve glucose absorption, reduce blood pressure, blood sugar levels, hot flashes, and inflammation, and help you burn fat and lose weight. The problem is there are a number of issues with it. Not only have all of these benefits only ever been demonstrated in vitro, rather than in humans, but its main active component has also been shown to be extremely difficult for the human body to absorb. Even if it is capable of providing these benefits in the human body though, it will only do so if you consume at least 750 mg per day, which is far more than can possibly be present here (3). This means the inclusion of rooibos leaf in Menoslim Tea is all but guaranteed to be of absolutely no use.
Organic Licorice Root - Licorice root extract is said to balance low estrogen levels, aid blood flow to the brain, reduce hot flashes and inflammation, and keep the internal organs healthy and functioning as you go through the menopause. This issue is, not only are its effects on your hormone levels not proven, but there are also claims that it will increase your body fat mass, rather than encouraging fat burning or weight loss (4). This means not only is licorice root unlikely to be of use in a supplement designed to prevent menopausal weight gain, such as Menoslim Tea, but it may even make the issue worse.
Organic Black Cohosh Root - Extracted from a plant native to eastern North America, black cohosh is one of the most popular and effective treatments for menopause symptoms you will find anywhere in the world. It works by altering the rate at which various neurotransmitters and hormones are produced. This gives black cohosh the ability to reduce blood pressure, mood swings, sleep disturbances, fat storage, hot flashes, and night sweats, promote weight loss and fat burning, support brain health, give you more energy, and combat a variety of other menopause symptoms (5). However, for black cohosh to provide optimal results, women need to consume around 120 mg per day. While it is possible that Menoslim Tea contains this amount, the proprietary blend makes it impossible for us to know for sure, although black cohosh being near the bottom of the blend makes it less likely.
Organic Cardamom Seed Pods - Cardomom seeds come from plants in the ginger family and are often used in dietary supplements, particularly those designed to aid weight loss, due to the large number of antioxidants that they contain. They are said to reduce inflammation, oxidative stress, blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and hot flashes, fight free radicals, improve heart and liver health, and, perhaps most importantly for post menopausal women, balance your hormone levels and aid weight loss. Unfortunately, the studies that have detected these benefits also show that you need to consume at least 3 grams of cardamom seeds per day to produce them (6). While the proprietary blend hides the exact dosage of cardamom seeds present, the fact that this dosage is one and a half times the weight of the entire blend cardamom seeds are contained in means there simply can't be enough present in Menoslim Tea to be of any use.
Organic Matcha Green Tea Leaf - Matcha is a very finely ground powder made from a specific type of green tea leaves. It is a very popular ingredient in a large number of natural dietary supplements, as all forms of green tea are a great source of natural caffeine, as well as a potent antioxidant catechin known as EGCG.
The caffeine will promote thermogenesis, causing your internal temperature to increase and burn body fat, while the increase in energy will prevent you from feeling fatigued and allow you to complete longer and more challenging workouts, which will help you lose weight much faster and avoid storing any new fat. Meanwhile, the EGCG will reduce stress and inflammation, further preventing you from gaining weight and helping you enjoy better memory and brain, heart, liver, and immune system health and functions, while treating menopause symptoms like stress, bloating, mood swings, hot flashes, and weak bones and skin. The problem is, matcha green tea will only help combat menopause symptoms if you consume at least 2 grams per day. As this is the entire weight of the blend that matcha green tea is at the bottom of, it is just not possible for there to be enough present in one cup of Menoslim Tea to be of any use (7).
VoomVaya Menoslim Tea claims to be an all natural herbal tea that can aid menopause weight loss while helping women avoid a variety of other menopausal symptoms. Unfortunately, like many other menopause teas, it simply cannot balance low estrogen levels and promote healthy weight loss in the ways that it says.
From the use of proprietary blends, unproven ingredients, and insufficient doses of proven ones, to many complaints from past users about everything from a lack of efficacy and side effects to both the product and brand being low quality, it all sets Menoslim Tea out as an extremely ineffective menopause product.
That is why we highly recommend you do not buy Menoslim Tea.
